Managed Data Infrastructure

Oriel can provision and manage all your data infrastructure requirements, including servers, storage and networking. From a few key systems to your entire data centre infrastructure, continuous monitoring and proactive management ensures the highest availability.

Managed Backup and Recovery Infrastructure

Backup and recovery infrastructure, particularly Disaster Recovery (DR) infrastructure, can be expensive to implement and maintain. We can provide managed backup and recovery solutions – servers, storage, deduplication, offsite data replication, continuous data protection, traditional backup and archiving – with a cost-effective range of service levels to suit your objectives.

Office Recovery Centre

With up to 50 seats available, we can accommodate your core business teams in the event your staff is physically prevented from accessing your premises.
As it's connected to our data centre facilities it provides rapid access to your Oriel managed infrastructure. We use Virtual Desktop Infrastructure to ensure you are up and running in minimum time. Connection to your own primary and secondary sites is also possible.

Managed Desktop Infrastructure

We will ensure the streamlined operation of your physical or virtual desktop environment through the implementation and ongoing management of a standardised desktop SOE.

Managed Unified Comms Infrastructure

Oriel’s Infrastructure Management

Oriel’s Infrastructure Management (IM) services are designed to assist customers in the provision of IT services to their organisation, through the efficient monitoring and management of their IT Infrastructure. The IM services offered by Oriel are comprised of two components, ORIZON® Monitoring services and Oriel Management services.

ORIZON® Monitoring

Provides an end-to-end, centralised monitoring service with a comprehensive set of tools and features to allow rapid troubleshooting and resolution .Two levels of service are available:
ORIZON® Essentials
A low cost device monitoring service that provides alerts for the early detection of outages and performance bottlenecks, and general visibility of network health and device status.
ORIZON® Premium
An enhancement of the ORIZON® Essentials service that additionally provides detailed performance monitoring of the IT Infrastructure, and greater visibility of device and application specific detail, reports and information stores.

Oriel Management

Oriel Management provides a comprehensive, integrated suite of services to efficiently operate and maintain the customer’s IT Infrastructure. The following management services incorporate ORIZON® Premium monitoring and are delivered by the Oriel Management Centre (OMC). Two levels of service are available:
Managed Availability
A rapid response service that monitors the health and availability of the customer’s IT infrastructure and actively detects, diagnoses and resolves service related incidents as they occur. Optional services are available for the resolution of incidents relating to supported applications and databases

At the core of all Oriel Managed Services is ORIZON, a comprehensive and powerful IT infrastructure management platform, developed by Oriel.
ORIZON is also available as a standalone solution delivered via a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model, for organisations that have the in-house resources but lack the right tool to manage their vast IT environment.

Cost effective – As ORIZON is delivered via a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model, it enables Oriel to minimise turn on costs and be highly cost competitive.

Scalable – ORIZON is an agentless application, capable of scaling with your network no matter how big or complex it may grow. Our auto-provisioning capability can automatically detect all Moves, Adds, Changes and Deletions on your network, ensuring information is always up to date and accurate.

Superior Visibility – ORIZON provides a “single pane of glass” for visibility across the wide range of technologies in your IT infrastructure. The Event ORIZON system tray tool provides real time event notifications to your desktop.

Easy Access - With access via the internet, ORIZON ensures you have the information you need anywhere, anytime, to keep your systems running at peak performance.

Informed Decision Making – ORIZON enables informed decisions on IT strategy and support of IT expenditure based on detailed and historical reporting and analysis.

Designed as a web-based application, ORIZON is utilised by the Oriel Management Centre for the remote monitoring and management of our customers’ IT environments. It is this same tool that enables you to have full visibility of your network via ORIZON’s web portal.

ORIZON provides you with reports, graphs, statistical information and ticket status, as well as a repository for all related network documentation, maintenance contracts, escalation procedures, change management requests and configurations.
